Clareview Courts, Edmonton

Clareview is located at 4245-139 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Situated only eight kilometers north east of the downtown centre which is accesible from the south and west by means of the Yellowhead Trail, 137 Avenue or with public transportation. The buildings are six storeys high with a total of 226 luxuriously apartments and a underground parking deck. In addition to these, there are also above-ground parking places for visitors. In each building there is a lift. Shops, churches a fire department and schools are within walking distance. Two kilometres west of the apartment complex one finds Londonderry Mall, a large regional shopping centre. Recently built are serveral theaters, a warehouse and two Home Improvement stores in the neighbourhood.

Edmonton is the capital of the Canadian province of Alberta and has 782,439 inhabitants (april 2009). It is Canada’s fifth largest city, after Toronto, Montréal, Vancouver, and Calgary. Edmonton encompasses no less than 684 square kilometres, which makes it larger in area than cities like Chicago and Toronto. Bear in mind though, that Edmonton is also one of the most sparsely populated cities in North America. So the area cited includes a lot of parks and undeveloped land. The city is industry based.
