street is the main old town area where all city festivals and other
entertainments take place.
Project
At the moment buildings are former bank premises and have commercial
designation. All three buildings make a unique complex that has to be
redeveloped all at once. It is planned to make commercial premises on the ground
floor and basement. In the floors 2,3 and attic 18 flats will be made.
Surroundings
The building complex is in the Klaipeda old town. Project is just few minutes
walk from Theatre Square, City Hall, municipality. Just across one street river
Dane goes by, Curonian Lagoon can be reached in few minute walk. Several
kindergartens, schools, shops, banks are close to the project.
Klaipeda is the main seaport in Lithuania and the country’s second largest
city with a population of 190,000. It is situated at the mouth of the Curonian
Lagoon where it meets the Baltic Sea. The port remains ice-free year round and
is the main terminal for ferry connections to Sweden and Germany.
